The ensemble's repertoire is thirty pieces. The last survey counted more than seventy.
A dance survives only as long as someone can still perform it well enough to teach it. Notation was never part of the tradition, and film arrived late.
The ensemble is now recording its full repertoire from three camera angles, on the assumption that the next generation will learn from video whether we like it or not.
