Oral History Project Records Its Hundredth Interview
Four years of recordings, and the archive's oldest speaker was born in 1931.
The hundredth interview was recorded in Jerash in a mixture of Adyghe and Arabic, which is how most of them are conducted.
Every recording is transcribed twice, once in the language spoken and once in Arabic. The backlog of transcription is now longer than the backlog of interviews.
